Local contraindications

• Cuts, open wounds, bruises or burns
• Varicose veins, broken bones or recent injuries
• Some skin conditions
• Recent aesthetic procedures or surgery

General contraindications

• Endangered pregnancy, fever or raised blood pressure
• Unregulated diabetes or blood-clotting conditions
• Severe atherosclerosis
• Unexplained intense pain
• Recent major surgery or significant kidney and liver conditions
